Test Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform automation testing of web based and mobile applications.

- Design, develop and execute automation scripts

- Responsible for creating automated tests for web/mobile applications.

- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

- Work with Product Owners to validate and review the automation cases.

- Fully remote position in Mexico

- Candidates must be located in MX to be considered

Must-Have:

• 3-5 years of overall industry experience
• Experience in Software Test Automation (Web/Mobile)
• Java experience
• Knowledge on web automation using JMeter/Selenium/Cypress/Postman (selenium is a hard-core requirement)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to be able to read and understand front-end web code
• Some prior experience with the standard software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support)
• Experience in testing SOAP Service, Microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Good Knowledge or understanding of different web/mobile/API security mechanisms
• Experience designing, developing, and running scripts to automate testing
• Must be fluent in Spanish (English is a plus)
